These are the first two paintings of what will be a series of four. Click on the images to read the poems.

Each painting contains a poem, shown on a phone screen, surrounded by a scene suggestive of social media lifestyle shots (such as idealized working lunches, example below). Yet, the idiosyncratic props that make up the scenes are drawn from local estate sale hauls, are repeated and disrupted across the painting field, and may refer tangentially to the poem's contents. Each painting serves as a prompt for further poems, and for the next painting. The first painting contains a poem by me, and each subsequent one contains a poem by a member of the cohort.
