Each painting contains a poem, shown on a phone screen, surrounded by a scene suggestive of social media lifestyle shots (of the type that may take place in a cafe or over a glamorous working lunch). Yet, the props that make up the scenes are drawn from local estate sale hauls, are repeated and disrupted across the painting field, and may refer tangentially to the poem's contents. Each painting serves as a prompt for further poems, and for the next painting. The first painting contains a poem by me, and each subsequent one contains a poem by a member of the cohort.
