Just as my previous project, See Me Bearing, celebrated the meaning and context around its paintings, so will Direct Message. Fitz Books and Waffles serves as Buffalo's 'third space' because it offers culture and community to our city with unsurpassed authenticity. This closely supports the themes of Direct Message, so I am lucky that they will host our event--an art exhibit, book launch, poetry reading, and celebration. Save the date: June 5, 2026.
